Discussion:
Principal's report was given by Mr. Nick Brost who attended the MAC AD/Superintendent meeting in Sidney and the suicide awareness training. Fall school picture day featuring portraits and sports activities are complete with a special thank you to Jenny Reichman. The senior art students attended Hastings College Mural Competition Day. We have explored football classifications for 2022-24 years. South Platte FFA received a donation from Ag Valley Co-op. Avery Hayward, Student Council President, presented to the board the Student Council Dress Code Committee concerns. Miss Winckler, JH/HS English teacher, did an introduction and presentation of the curriculum. Mr. Brost provided additional updates on the website, calendar printing, and policy services that are in progress.

Discussion:
The Superintendent's report was given by Mr. David Spencer. The charter bus graphics are completed by Faber Graphics. Homecoming activities are next week with a full schedule of activities. He attended IEP, MAC and ESU #16 meetings, staff in service with suicide awareness training. Welcome, Joel Foster, our new paraprofessional. There are several elementary field trips scheduled. Congratulations to the South Platte students that participated in the Deuel County fair. MAPS and Dibles testing are underway.

Discussion:
2021-22 TAX REQUEST RESOLUTION
FOR SCHOOL DISTRICT NUMBER 95, DEUEL COUNTY NEBRASKA, SOUTH PLATTE SCHOOLS WHEREAS, public notice was given at least five days in advance of a Special Public Hearing called for the purpose of discussing and approving of modifying the district's Tax Request for the 2021-2022 school fiscal year for the General Fund, Bond Fund, and Special Building Fund for South Platte Public Schools, also known as School District Number 95 Deuel County, Big Springs Nebraska and referred to by the State of Nebraska as South Platte School District 25-0095. WHEREAS, such a Special Public Hearing was held before the Board of Education (hereinafter "the Board") of South Platte School District 25-0095 (hereinafter "the District"), at the time District, and place announced in the notice published in a newspaper of general circulation, a copy of which notice and proof of publication of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, all as required by law; and, WHEREAS, the Board provided an opportunity to receive comment, information and evidence from persons in attendance at such Special Hearing; and, WHEREAS, the Board, after having reviewed the District's Tax Requests for each said fund, and after public consideration of the matter, has determined that the Final Tax Requests as listed below are necessary in order to carry out the functions of the District, as determined by the Board for the 2021-2022 school fiscal year. NOW BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that - * the Tax Request for the General Fund should be, and hereby is set for $2,931,261.00 * the Tax Request for the Special Building Fund should be, and hereby is set at $44,413.00 * the Tax Request for the South Platte Bond Fund should be and hereby is set at $399,717.00 It is so moved by Hayward and seconded by Stanley this 13th day of September, 2021.
