Discussion:
Mr. Spencer has registered the board members for the State convention. Routine maintenance inspections are completed on all vehicles. The suburban purchase is complete. Mr. Spencer is working on bids for snow removal.

VII. Principals Report

Discussion:
The principal's report was given by Mr. Nick Brost. The fall sports seasons are complete. Basketball practice starts Monday. Mr. Brost attended the NSAA District VI meeting in Alliance. The NHS hosted a successful Red Cross Blood drive. The website development program has progressed. The Honor Roll and Honorable Mention Honor roll students (75) were celebrated with brownies and ice cream. Staff and teacher observations/evaluations (8) are underway. The Unified bowling team has practiced in Julesburg and placed first place game and series at their first dual in Ogallala. The first MAC all school assembly and student advisory committee will be held. Alison Lofton is the First Quarter Student of Quarter. District Play production is scheduled for November 30 at North Platte.

VIII. Superintendents Report

Discussion:
The superintendent's report was given by Mr. David Spencer. He reported that the Rule 10 assurance statement has been submitted. Several other grant fund programs have been reviewed, finalized and submitted. Dibels tests are complete; Mr. Spencer shared the results. The staff in-service covered differentiated instruction discussion. NASB State Conference is next week. The elementary classes have attended several field trips and have more scheduled. The sixth grade held genius hour presentations. The fire alarm system inspections are complete. A school fire department walkthrough is scheduled. Mr. Brown has worked on science lab updates, including safety processes. Mr. Spencer provided an update on the time management system and the life safety equipment. Mr. Spencer handed out the 2000's KSB board policies for review. |
