V. Board Members (Committee Reports)
Discussion:
The building and grounds committee report included a security system update and the new door will be installed next month. The transportation update: all the buses and vehicles have been serviced and are ready for the school year. The school board membership meetings are in North Platte.

Discussion:
Mr. Nick Brost gave the principal's report. Mr. Brost gave an update about Administrator Days in Kearney. Several coaches attended the NCA Multisport Clinic in Lincoln. The NSAA Student Advisory Committee meeting in Lincoln was attended. Three vehicles of students were transported to Julesburg for a Free Sports Physical Day. Fall sports -- first practices were well attended: Football (15), Volleyball (11) and Cross Country (6). Upcoming Dates: Aug 8 - First Day of Practice (Football, Volleyball, Cross Country), Aug 9 - Matt McNiff Professional Development @ Garden County, Aug 17-18 Teacher Work Days, Aug 19 - First Day of School & FB/VB Scrimmage, Aug 25 - VB Triangular & FB @ Southwest (Bartley).

VIII. Superintendents Report

Discussion:
Mr. David Spencer gave the superintendent's report. The school safety meeting and planning for next year includes safety packs for teachers and staff. Back to school night is August 17. Congrats to the South Platte students that participated in the Keith County Fair; and good luck to the students participating in the Deuel County Fair next week! Mr. Spencer provided budget updates and staff updates.
