COMMITTEE REPORTS BUILDING AND GROUNDS: The track jump approach surfaces have been completed. EDUCATION: Several board educational board opportunities were presented. TRANSPORTATION: The security camera for the Ogallala bus has been installed and tires have been repaired.

Mr. Nick Brost's Principal's Report: Congratulations to the Students of the Month: Blake Riggs, Brody Miller, Heidi Maupin, Tyler Armstrong, Gabe Kendrick, Johanna Frerichs. Adams Bank & Trust Student of the 3rd Quarter: Zaerihya Doncheske. We hosted the Honor Roll Brownies & Ice cream for 83 students. Thank you Tasha, Peg and Kailey for the brownies. Chloe Ortega received Honorable Mention in the Junior Federal Duck Stamp Contest held in Scottsbluff. Drake Arensdorf and Brayden Kendall earned MAC All-Conference wrestling. MAC All Conference Basketball: 1st Team: Isabelle Reichman, Johanna, Quinten Koenen. 2nd Team: Zaerihya, Nathan Jacobs. Honorable Mention: Jayla Paulsen, Conner Evans, Joshua Estrada. Keith County News All-Area Basketball Selections: 1st Team: Isabelle, Johanna, Quinten. 2nd Team: Nathan, Conner. All Defense: Zaerihya, Joshua. State Speech Qualifiers: Zaerihya, Madison Johnson and Quinten. Quinten Placed 4th in Extemporaneous Speaking. Mrs. Jacobs and HS Music were the MAC Instrumental Champions. HS Band: 1st Place, HS Show Choir: 2nd, Chloe Jacobs: 1st Place Piano, Madison J.: 1st Woodwinds, Sarah Hobbs.: 3rd place alto solo, Chloe J.: 3rd Place soprano solo. Winter NCPA Academic All State Recipients - BBB: Nathan; Quinten, GBB: Zaerihya, Isabelle; Wrestling: Drake, Brayden, Audrey Moorhead, Annlyn Wilson; Speech: Zaerihya, Quinten. State FFA Results: Individual Results - Tyler Agronomy White Ribbon, Natural Resources Individual Results: Jared Scherbarth-Red Ribbon, Madison J. White Ribbon. South Platte had 41 students recognized as NSC Multi-Activity Student Award Recipients which means they were recognized for participating in at least 3 NSAA sports or activities. Spring Testing Update: MAP and NSCAS test windows close on May 2nd. ACT and preACT8/9 Tests administered. PreACT test for Sophomores is scheduled for April 23. NHS Hosted the Spring Blood Drive. HS Science Report: Experimental Butterfly Garden proposed behind the science room.

Discussion:
Mr. David Spencer's Superintendent's Report: MAC Music at Leyton, staff meeting March 26 included Inclusive Practices discussions with the entire staff; sixth grade Classroom renovations to include bids for carpet, lights, cabinets and countertop, HVAC system, windows. Thank you to all that donated and helped with the Penny Carnival on March 21st. The 4/5th grade trip had the Omaha Zoo trip. The Family Heritage Night is scheduled for May 5th. The K-2 MAPs Testing and 3-6 NSCAS Testing are completed. MTSS Meetings and planning for next year are ongoing. Mr. Brost, all para-educators, Mackenzie Carstens and Mr. Spencer attended a para training in Ogallala. New South Platte students have moved into the district.
