Mr. Nick Brost's Principal's Report: Congratulations to our Students of the Month: Sky Trujillo, Bo Delle Koehler, Brooke Fox, Conner Evans, Carla Gomez and Quinten Koenen. Congratulations Madison Johnson, our Adams Bank & Trust Student of the 4th Quarter. Cordell Frerichs, the Adams Bank & Trust Student of the Year. Golf Team Update: 8 Golfers who have made great progress this year. The golf season district meet is May 20. Track update: Boys placed 2nd at MAC, Nathan Jacobs won 4 golds. Nathan set the school record for Discus. All boys and girls are setting PRs, continuing to improve as the season progresses. May 14 is District Track meet. Nathan, Joshua Estrada, Jarrette Schwartze, Quinten, Johanna Frerichs and Isabelle Reichman will play in the MAC vs MNAC GBB game May 31. Quinten, Johanna and Isabelle were selected to play in the Panhandle Prep Basketball game on May 30. Isabelle and Johanna were selected to play in the NPCC All-Star Basketball game June 7. Handbook Update: Student Council and Graduation Awards. Graduation Requirement Updates per the NE Department of Education: Speech, Computer Science. HS Science Update - Butterfly Garden has been planted with many local donations and invoices haven't exceeded $500. District Music Contest Awards: Band-superior, Show Choir-excellent, Madison Johnson, flute-(perfect score) superior, Nathan, Chloe Jacobs, Makena Harris, Epiphany Perez, vocal solo-superior, Madison, Sarah Hobbs vocal solo-excellent, Vocal ensemble-superior, Chloe piano-superior. Thank you to Mrs. Scherbarth, Mrs. Sylvester and the Junior Class for hosting the prom. Thank you to Dustie Doncheske, Denise Moorhead and Booster Club for all of their hard work to put together the Awards Banquet. Thank you to Mrs. Sylvester, Mrs. Scherbarth and Mrs. Jacobs for hosting Family Heritage Night. Madison Johnson received the Seal of Biliteracy from the Nebraska Department of Education. May 16 is the last day of school with 11 am dismissal.

Mr. David Spencer's Superintendent's Report: The elementary staff have been busy working with ESU16 to improve student learning. We are investigating and working through peer-to-peer cohort groups with other ESU16 and elementary schools. The test results are back for reading and math growth was experienced in all grades.
