X. Principals Report

Mr. Ford
Discussion:
Principal's report was given by Mr. Seth Ford. Mr. Ford meant with the Student Council for guidance on GRIT lessons. Career and skills mini class day is going to be held at the end of February. Report cards for 1st semester are done and have been mailed out. There will be a luncheon on Friday for the Honor Roll at the fire hall, Mr. Ford invited the board members to attend. There are 48 students on Honor Roll and 18 on Honorable Mention for the 2nd quarter. Kaylee Kizer is the student of 2nd quarter. Winter concerts for the elementary and high school was held on December 12th and the Junior High performance was held on December 17th. Thank you to the school board for supporting the students that went to the end of the semester movie in Julesburg and Ogallala. National Honor Society induction will be February 6th. Parent-teacher conferences has been moved form February 4th to February 19th. Science MAPS testing has been taking place.

Discussion:
Superintendent's report was gen by Mr. David Spencer. Thank you to the Hippodrome Theatre in Julesburg for hosting the elementary students for their end of the semester movie. The walk-in freezer is set up and running. Music room lights are installed. A new floor was installed over the weekend in the bathroom by the elementary office. Mr. Spencer has been working with ESU #16 for the Title 1 program. Dibeal testing was given this pass week in the elementary. Bleachers could be delievered Mid-March. Carlson Electric will be doing some electrical in the gym for the bleachers.
