Call the meeting to order - 7:10 p.m.
Discussion:
President T. Tegeler called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. Members present were: Broberg, Johnsen, Negus, Schutt, R. Tegeler and T. Tegeler. Absent: none.

Discussion:
President T. Tegeler referred to the open meetings law. There were no visitors or public comment.

Discussion regarding the 2026-2027 budget was held during the budget hearing prior to the board meeting.

Discussion:
Mr. Hahne stated that there wasn't a tax request hearing due to the joint public meeting he and T. Tegeler attended September 21, 2026 in Norfolk. He read a resolution to set the property tax request that includes tax askings for the general fund of $6,313,131 and bond fund of $1,253,282 resulting in a property tax request of 0.735153 per $100 of assessed value.

Consider/Discuss/Approve construction of a greenhouse.

Discussion:
Quotes have been received from Werner Electric, Merit Mechanical and Rutjens Construction for electrical, plumbing and ground/concrete work associated with a new greenhouse. Prices were higher than anticipated. The board is interested in receiving additional bids for this work. It was also mentioned to have industrial arts and ag students help with the project to reduce costs.
