Action(s):
No Action(s) have been added to this Agenda Item.
Discussion:
The lunch fund is currently solvent, however, as the year progresses that will change. Food prices and salaries will quickly go through the money in the account. Questions were asked about profitability compared to other schools. Mr. Hahne explained that schools our size are in the same situation, however, larger schools use the same number of personnel but receive more income from a larger student population. This eases their situations. Mr. Hahne recommends transferring funds to the lunch fund from the general fund.

|
Consider/Discuss/Approve Option Enrollment Resolution setting enrollment capacity for the 2027-28 school year.
Action(s):
No Action(s) have been added to this Agenda Item.
Discussion:
Mr. Hahne explained the proposed resolution needs approval each year for the upcoming school year. Changes to the law regarding option enrollment that stipulate once a student is accepted as an option student, the school would then be required to accept all other family members should they choose to opt in regardless of their educational needs. This change makes this resolution especially important now. Mr. Hahne read the Resolution on School District Standards for Acceptance or Rejection of Option Enrollment Applications in its entirety.
