Admin Reports
Discussion:
Athletic Director, Molly Stieren
A huge thank you to the staff here who have been welcoming and helpful, making it feel like I have been here a long time. Another thank you to our coaches and sponsors for their flexibility and willingness to share space during the summer. Fall sports started, and we are already discussing the online registration process for next year. Upcoming dates, activities and updates were shared, to include that the track is going to be resurfaced in September. |

Jr/Sr HS Principal August Board Report
Discussion:
Jr/Sr HS Principal, Rob Geise
Enrollment numbers, trends over the years and large class sizes were discussed. Thanks to the staff, students who stepped up, and maintenance for getting the building back together. Troubleshooting through the transition to SchoolMessenger continues for communication with our families. Orientation and open house has always been a big event and it was very well attended this year. |

Elementary Board Report August
Discussion:
Elementary Principal, Eric Dennis
Enrollments continue and we will have a firm number next month. The total number of students is more than last year already and class lists are being worked on to align with PowerSchool. The leadership team and staff met to discuss school procedures. About 90% of the school showed up for Open House, which was great. We found an Early Childhood Director on staff and are in the process of getting her in that role and finalizing her position. |

Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment
Discussion:
Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment, Lisa Bergmeyer
Shared updates in the areas of resources, compliance checks under rule 10, the FAFSA and ACT. Parents are notified that all graduating seniors in Nebraska have to complete the FAFSA and this is not completed by the school, but we will support the process. We are exploring the ability to be flexible with how we share curriculum with students and how they want to engage with content. Assessments will start at the end of August. |

Superintendent Report
Discussion:
Superintendent, Michael Apple
The building project is not complete, but it took a lot of people working a lot of hours to get to this point, and I am very proud of where we are and for everyone pulling together. Teachers were offered a second tour of a facility and there will be another visioning process for teachers about what they would like to see for next year. The windstorm caused about 50 holes in the roof and damaged the skylight, which is temporarily patched. There is a NASB membership meeting next month and they will recognize a few of our Board members for their achievements. |
