Mr. Hegge-Supreme Court opportunity
Participated in Constitution day on September 17th in Philadelphia with Teachers from all around the country. They met with the Supreme Court Justice and got ideas on how to teach this history and promote early involvement to our students. |

Jr/Sr HS Principal October Board Report and Info
Discussion:
Jr/Sr HS Principal - Rob Geise
Reflected on the students' success with attendance/tardies. Shared a Pilot Program that will start with 7th grade students and eventually will allow businesses to share necessary "soft skills" that apply and use this to match our students for future employment. Community wide Veteran's Program will be on 11/8/24. Annual College Career day will be hosted on 2/26/25. Focusing on student opportunities, what students want to pursue and finding their passion. School Counselor report also submitted. |

Elementary Report
Discussion:
Elementary Principal - Eric Dennis
Completing a lot of walk-through's of classrooms and will attend team meetings/review notes, in preparation of evaluations and to make sure that we are using school data to make improvements. Provided a review of class sizes and monthly activities, to include the PTO Glow Run and Cougar Hollow-een. Continue seeking full-time and part-time daycare staff and would consider opening on Monday's. |

Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment - Lisa Bergmeyer
Planning for Science standards update for next year, to include offering more course options. PreACT results to be shared with staff and they will receive training on how to use those results. Instructional coach report also submitted. |

Jr/Sr High Assistant Principal/Activities Director Report

Jr/Sr High Assistant Principal/Activities Director - Molly Stieren
Students are still really active and there are more events starting up, such as FFA and FBLA. Confirmed that the track project will resume after football season, and that the gym floor will be refinished in November. |

Superintendent Report
Discussion:
Superintendent - Mike Apple
HVAC progress continues, to include repairs and replacements. Administration is meeting with DLR for updates on the upcoming bond project and findings will be shared. Negotiations are due prior to November 1st, in addition to the Rule 10 assurance statement. The NASB Convention is November 20-22nd. |
