Mr. Geise-Jr/Sr High Principal
Sixth grade move-up day moved to May 7th. Math challenge day with Mr. Schliefert at Peru State College and 9 students who represented very well (Lamoureux, Gonderinger, Eagen, Jensen, Keene, Kayhanfar, Bergmeyer, Goecke, and Formanack). Flyer shared for Science Expo. Night on the 30th. Thanks to Mr. Stockwell for securing the donation for a sign for out front. Graduation information and important dates shared, all while making plans for the summer renovations. Mrs. Bergmeyer-Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment Began work with the CTE (career and technical education) teachers for education groups with Mr. Burns. Planning for incoming Ag. Teacher, Mrs. Carpenter, who is able to join Mr. Brothers at a conference for CTE. Looking at interactive boards with our Tech. department and ESU to see how user friendly they are. Testing through the State has begun and thankful for the staff for always being flexible. Mrs. Stieren-Assistant Principal/Activities Director Hannah B. qualified for State Speech through poetry and Jayden L. for State Journalism through newspaper column writing. FFA also had a great performance at State and some results were shared. It has been a great experience working with soccer and our Coaches, while the teams are off to a strong start. Shout out to Mr. Burns for assisting with technology during our track meet and comments on how smooth it went. Upcoming dates also shared, to include hosting large Track events these next two months. Mr. Krause-Director of Student Services Absent, report submitted. Mr. Dennis-Elementary Principal Absent, report submitted. |

Mr. Apple-Superintendent
Update on LB 135 and how it could impact small districts if it advances. Superintendent meetings occurring to build relationships with State Senators in efforts to reach out regarding Legislation and K-12 education. Bonds to be sold this week and ground breaking for renovation will begin on May 9th at 8 a.m. |
