Discussion:
Mr. Geise- FFA week was a success so thank you to Ms. Carpenter and our FFA Chapter for organizing. Formal evaluations are complete. College and career fair featured 20 booths representing career fields, colleges, and military. Junior High students visited Ignite Pathways where they explored different career options as well. Thanks to Mrs. Kreifels and Mr. Brokaw for setting this up.
Mrs. Stieren- Winter sports finished up, speech is wrapping up. Cheer and Dance competed at State and Cheer brought home first place in Game Day and Runners Up in Non-Tumbling. Cyber Patriot finished 40th in the Nation, huge accomplishment! The end-of-season surveys have been distributed and were overall very positive. Spring activities start next week. Mrs. Bergmeyer- Course handbook has been updated. The elementary instructional rounds are coming up. ACT is scheduled for March 24th. Pre ACT given to sophomores. Next school year we will be transitioning to DIBELs assessment platform for grades K-3. Mr. Krause- Visited with Senator Clements to talk about special education funding, visited ATSI support series and reviewed the data plan. The state required review of special education policies has been submitted. Mr. Dennis- Kindergarten Roundup will be April 29th for registration. The elementary musical was a huge success and the students and staff put in ton of work. Teacher evaluations are complete. Daycare staff is filling out, hoping to expand. Guest speaker Foster Huggins will be visiting the school and will be speaking to grades 2-6 about bullying and kindness. |

Superintendent Report
Discussion:
Mr. Apple- Construction is moving along, elementary is really progressing, at the point where we are going to start ordering furniture. High school kitchen has been emptied, full demolition will start this week, The cooks have been amazingly flexible. Starting to hang drywall in the high school new addition. Mr. Apple will be presented with the FFA Cornerstone Award, nominated by our FFA students. This award is given to an administrator as a thanks for their continued support of FFA.
