Discussion:
Mr. Geise- Congrats to Mr. Burns on his SkillsUSA successes at State this year. We have a group who made it to Nationals in Atlanta so congratulations to those students. Graduation is coming up May 16. Seniors are having a great year and finishing strong. Math Challenge Day at Peru State College occurred and was very successful. Recognition rallies continue to finish out the year. Discussed important upcoming dates.
Mr. Dennis- Master schedule should be complete by the next board meeting. State testing is happening now. School Carnival had a huge turnout, thank you to the PTO for putting it on. Kindergarten round up is April 29th, and so far we are expecting around 38 kindergartners. DHHS had their annual visit at the Early Childhood Center and it went really well. Discussed the new candidate for Kindergarten teacher. Mrs. Stieren- As submitted Mr. Krause- Our ESU licensed mental health practitioner added a third day this year, and it has been really helpful. This will continue. Goodwill would like to continue our relationship, and have opened a place closer to our district. Target improvement plans are due at the end of this month. We are focusing on reading growth shown between Fall and Winter via Fastbridge. Mrs. Bergmeyer- Annual Perkins Grant (through ESU) rotates through our CTE programs. This year it will mostly go to our Ag department. Greenhouse materials were recently delivered, which falls under the Perkins Grant. Sophomores and Juniors have received information on signing up for classes through SCC. Assessments have kicked off. Elementary had their NSCAS pep rally to get the kids excited. |

Discussion:
Mr. Apple- Construction update: HS windows are going in, brick is starting to be laid, and flooring for the CTE area. The Elementary update new addition is almost complete. Playground is set, surface is not poured yet due to weather. Huge cracks on the basketball court will need to be resurfaced. Gathering quotes for new vehicles. Mower needs to be replaced.
