Admin Reports
Discussion:
Mr. Dennis- Updated the board on current class sizes for the elementary. Summer school is happening now. Class lists are a work in progress and should be completed end of June. Summer enrollment in CEEC is a little lower than anticipated.
Mrs. Stieren- The 2026-2027 athletic calendar is up and ready with almost all fall activities listed. Bound registration will be online for athletic forms. HUDL package price increased since last year, but they are providing more in return for the higher fee, including a focus camera for the elementary. Ticketing for activities will also be an option through HUDL. Student athlete survey response report was presented to the board. Feedback included adding golf, so Mrs. Stieren is doing her due-diligence to see if it's a viable option for our district. Mr. Krause- Recently attended a mental health conference and is looking to implement whole school mental health awareness and goals. He attended an "Attendance is a Team Sport" conference with a focus on chronic absenteeism and some ways to improve student attendance. He is wrapping up documentation on para evaluations. Mrs. Bergmeyer- She attended a leadership conference training for CLSD grant work. Teachers have begun Flex Day work, including completing a syllabus for all of their classes. These will be distrubuted at open house this year. School improvement teams have started to meet. Our external visit that happens every 5 years will be next spring in April. Mr. Geise: Our SkillsUSA students competed at Nationals in Atlanta and finished 14th in the nation out of 44 states. Attendance recognition for students has been mailed. Emergency Operations team will meet in August to discuss and implement our safety procedures, current ones are outdated now given our construction projects. Handbooks will be submitted at July meeting for approval. Admin team going to leadership conferences this summer. Summer school is happening now. The building leadership team will be meeting in June. |
