President Morrill called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Discussion:
Morrill announced that the Open Meetings Laws Act Poster was displayed on the wall at the entrance.

Meeting date, place and time was posted at the Creighton H.S, Creighton Elem, Creighton City Offices and published in the Knox County News.

Superintendent
Discussion:
Roof is almost complete. Tin work and gutter drops in yet. New personnel is great. Maintenance very busy - cleaning, making dividers. Masks at volleyball game - most people pretty good. School year plan - going pretty good. people watching the dial. Title IX notice - KSB version - combines some of the things - KSB is our legal counsel so want to use their policy. Kortney teaching an online class to Verdigre. Retirement plaques to Jay and Randy. Safety committee meet next week. P/T Conferences - not making parents feel obligated to be here, can meet with teacher if want yet. Bus barn lease - Jim still thinking about fuel tank use. New bus came and was used on Friday.

Discussion:
all officials for next year are hired, senior ACT test on October 6th - free to students, no writing portion with it, SIP - will look at MAP scores for this fall - what kind of deficits are we seeing from the spring online learning, deficits aren't really too big right now. Rapid response team.

Watched NASB video. Area membership meetings - virtual this year, topics to be covered. Candidates forum if anyone is interested. Appoint delegate for NASB state convention in next few months. Upcoming committee work, analyze bus info for next school year. Negotiations - recognize the teachers association. Committee changes,

Policy
Discussion:
Policy - discussed new policies that deal with Title IX to have all the new additions, etc. Check on trying to put dates on when policies were revised or adopted. If all on website why do we need to have a hard copy? Committee recommends approval of all changes.

American Civics
Discussion:
American Civics - no changes from last year to this year. Met once, will meet once more again. Feel the list is taken care of.
|

Finance
Discussion:
Finance - Met Sept 9. First National Capital Markets shared witht the school what they could do to provide support for budget and finance. $15,000 for two years. Discussed if cost is worth it or if board can understand budgedfgt with out it. No recommendation from committee.
