Public Comment
Discussion:
Public Comment - Amber Fritz on job application - intro here on behalf of Abby. advocating for her child, she is hard of hearing so has to communicate with sign language. hired para with some sign language skills to work for her, requested by teacher, parents, and para says she would benefit. at IEP district agreed to adveftise for it. there is an ad on NDE website for this to start in the fall. please that this step is being taken. Advertisement is quite unusual so that is why she is here. Ads are suppose to be sent to Robbys address not the school. Feels that only job where it would be sent to home address, not the school. creates lack of transparency around this position. Feels should be sent to district to be logged and received. Right now no one in district would know if there is an app or if they are qualified. Urges to check policy to see where applications are sent that it is to school, not to personal address. Asks that Ryon be named as district rep for her family. Thanks for your time.
Duane - on public comment we here your comments. Thank you. |
