BVH Architecture presented to the board. They shared the value of their facility study process.

Discussion:
Mr. Kraus reported that he submitted his self evaluation.
The mission statement planning is Dec. 5th at 7:30 PM. Mr. Kraus will attend DA superintendent summit. Mr. Kraus updated us on upcoming board conferences. Negotiations will take place on Nov. 27th.

Principal Reports
Discussion:
Mr. Moore reported on the math acceleration work they are doing with the staff. In January, the elementary will review state standards and align curriculum. Mrs. Zastera is leading the review of ELA curriculum. Mr. Moore also updated the board on the elementary MTSS-B positive behavior system.
Mr. Farley reported on the math acceleration and ELA review. He updated the board on the programs and assemblies that have taken place over the past month. He also updated us on upcoming assemblies an programs before the winter break. Mr. Royal reported on the work they are doing to finalize the reunification process in our safety plan. Mr. Royal expressed his appreciation for the coaching staff at SDA. Mrs. Gilkey reported on the number of special education files as well as the number of certified and classified staff. Mrs. Gilkey reported on the goals of the special education team. Mrs. Callahan and Mrs. Gilkey attended the law conference. |
