9.2.1. Parent-teacher conference turnout.

9.2.2. Congratulations to our three state-qualifying LHS wrestlers, Daven Naylor, Dylan Hubbard, and Fredy Vargas. Daven placed 4th at state, fantastic.

9.2.3. Congratulations to the girls LHS powerlifting team for placing first and to the boys for placing second at the state meet at Peru State College this past weekend! Individual champions included Priscilla Castaneda, Allondra Arreaga, Malinda Lo, Jackie Ostrom, Kaitlin Navas, Karly Huerta, and Juan Carlos Gonzalez.

9.2.4. Graduation ceremony plans. Plans are to hold the ceremony on the LHS football field on May 9 to reduce COVID risk of transmission and avoid limiting attendance. If the weather forecast is poor, we would propose to move the ceremony into the west gym, limit attendance there, and stream the ceremony into east gym where we'd have overflow seating; we would then be able to house all attendees safely and in compliance with the public health department.

9.2.5. Many positive comments were shared by the external accreditation team visit from March 22-25. A big thanks to all stakeholders who participated in interviews and particularly to Julie Myers and her assistants Ann Foster and Annette Fitzgerald for coordinating the week and providing the mountain of documentation leading up to the visit. Thanks also to Carlos, Larry, and Roger for their time representing the school board in the interview process!

9.2.6. Vaccination update. LRHC is holding mass vaccinations for LPS staff on March 11 (1st dose) and April 1 (2nd dose). To date, over half of LPS staff members wanting the vaccine have received at least the first dose. Making progress!

9.2.7. UNK Dean of the College of Education Mark Reid is coming to visit the district on March 10, and Nebraska Farm Bureau president Mark McHargue will be in town to meet with various constituents on March 11. 

9.2.8. NSAA spring guidelines were recently released. We plan to follow them.

10.1. Discuss, consider, and take all necessary action concerning total package increases for classified, administrative, and support staff for 2021-2022.

10.2. Consider approval of superintendent's contract for 2021-2023.
