10.2.4. Congratulations to the LHS boys & coed powerlifting teams for their crownings as national champions and to the girls team who placed 5th at the USA Powerlifting High School National Championships this past weekend. Individuals who placed in the top 10 include Alondra Arreaga (3rd), Miguel Castellanos (2nd), Emilee Martinez (6th), Reyes Rivas (9th), Ezequiel Ruiz (7th), Anthony Taracena (2nd), and Emanuel Zuniga (6th).

10.2.5. We have now hired 9 UNK students for 2024-2025 who student-taught for us this year.

10.2.6. Senior Tribute/Honors Night will be held at 7 PM on Tuesday, April 23, in the LHS west gym. Baccalaureate will be held at 7 PM on Wednesday, May 1, at The Crossing. Graduation will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, May 5, in the LHS west gym.

10.2.7. The LPS employee retirement reception will be held from 4-6 PM on Thursday, May 16, in the LMS cafeteria. Retirees include Lori Burr, Mitch Muma, Boni Muzzey, and Sheryl Wozny.
|

10.2.8. The last day of school for students and staff will remain as presented on the district calendar, May 21 and 22, respectively, since all three extra built-in days were utilized this year due to weather cancelations.
