Motion to excuse absent member Lori Browning Passed with a motion by Mark Lang and a second by Scott Reisig.

Motion to adopt the agenda Passed with a motion by Paul Snyder and a second by Scott Reisig.

Move pursuant to §84-1410 of the Nebraska Revised Statute, also known as the Nebraska Open Meetings Law, that the Board of Education for Scottsbluff Public Schools go into closed session, to include Superintendent, Dr. Andrew Dick, Executive Director of Finance, Marianne Carlson, Director of Facilities, Travis Rickey, Bear Cub Preschool Principal, Jodi Benson, Assistant Director of Student Services, Betsy Skelcher, Director of Communications, Melissa Price, Director of Technology, David Davis, Jack Baker from Baker & Associates, and Derek Aldridge from the Perry Law Firm for the purpose of a strategy session with respect to a potential real estate purchase. The closed session is necessary for the protection of the public interest. Passed with a motion by Paul Snyder and a second by Scott Reisig.

Motion to adjourn closed session and reconvene into open session. Motion passed at 7:30 pm. Unseconded with a motion by Mark Lang.
