Discussion:
Scottsbluff High School student Landon Amundsen addressed the Board. During the month of March, SHS students participated in ACT preparation and testing. In the last month, multiple student career organizations competed in state competitions, including Educators Rising and HOSA. Both boys and girls basketball teams wrapped up their seasons as District champions. The SHS Speech team also sent several students to their state competition. Prom was held the first weekend of April. The high school's musical, "The Sound of Music", will be performed this coming weekend. Landon thanked the Board of Education for their continued support and for the opportunities the Board has provided for all students.

Beth Merrigan thanked SHS staff members for all their work and contributions made towards preparing the high school students for the ACT exam. Scott Reisig commented that this is a busy time of the year, not only for parents, but for teachers, administrators and support staff, and encouraged the District staff members to have a strong finish to this school year.

Dr. Dick expressed his well wishes for Ralph's next endeavor and thanked him again for his support of Scottsbluff Public Schools.
