I. Discussion Items

1.  Book Review: "The Advantage"  Pages 65-81:  Mrs. Burton

2.  Bond Update:  Thank you for the names submitted to assist with getting information out on the proposed bond referendum.  We have two weeks until the ballots go out and 4 weeks until we know the result. 

3.   OCR  Review:  2017-18 Civil Rights Data Collection (CRDC), the Advance Website (AWS) is OPEN!  Please work with Kim Powell on completing this document.

4.  2019-20 Calendar Discussion:  I will meet with the SEA on February 22nd.  We will review their recommendations and present the
calendar to the board for approval on March 11th.

5.  Staff and Program Needs: Staffing needs for 2019-20 will need to be online as soon as possible.  Please focus on your teacher needs at this time.  We will address support staff needs in March.

6.  Requisitions:  Textbook cycle and requisitions for 2019-20 are open.  Teachers will need to requisition for their present positions.  The COOP purchase catalog opens on line on 2/18/2019.  Coop purchase is due April 1st.  Regular requisitions due May 1st.

8.  Principals/Director Salary Considerations:  The board negotiations team met last night and approved 2019-10 administrator contract recommendations.  Penny is working on your contracts.  If I don't have them at the meeting, please stop by this week and sign.

9. Crisis Response:  The district crisis team met last Friday to review our response to the death of three elementary students and their mother.  The team shared their thoughts about the work done in preparation of our response on Monday, work throughout the day, and notes that went home to elementary parents alerting them to our response.
