Discussion:  INTERVIEWS OF CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT CANDIDATES:: The Selection Committee conducted interviews of the three (3) firms determined by the Selection Committee to be finalists for the position of construction manager at risk for the construction for the proposed new high school building (the Project). THE FIRMS INTERVIEWED WERE: Name of Firm Interview Time Hausmann Construction July 16, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. – 5:15 p.m. Sampson Construction July 16, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. – 6:45 p.m. Boyd Jones / BD Construction July 16, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. – 8:45 p.m. EVALUATION OF CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT CANDIDATES: Following the interviews, the Selection Committee deliberated regarding the evaluation of the Finalists for the position of construction manager at risk for the Project. Following such deliberations, the Selection Committee collectively evaluated each firm based upon the selection criteria established in the request for proposals for the project and prepared findings, recommendations and rankings with regard to each finalist firm, and discussed the Selection Committee’s collective recommendation to the Board of Education of the ranking of the finalist firms in order of preference. Deliberation will continue during the Selection Committee Meeting on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 4:30 p.m.
