Doug Willoughby read the Mission Statement.

I.G.1. Discussion and Approval of a Superintendent Search Firm
Discussion:
The board discussed the idea of keeping the search broad to be sure and get the best pool of candidates. There was discussion regarding the three firms that had sent information. McPherson and Jacobsen, Ray and Associates and NASB. All three included a timeline and specifics on how they facilitate the search. Two of the firms were very comparable in their procedure and price. The board felt comfortable knowing the insight from some Nebraska current and retired superintendents would hold values similar to what would be acceptable for CPS. They also looked at current searches that had been done by each firm. Some attributes that need to be clarified in the search process were mentioned. The search needs to begin very soon, the firm selected is expected to be at the January 8th board meeting. |
