1. Open Meeting

Rationale:

In accordance with Nebraska law, a copy of the Open Meetings Act can be found in the back of the Council Chambers.
Items listed on the agenda may be considered in any order.

Discussion: Committee Chair Travis Sears called the meeting to order at 5:22pm.

2. Roll Call

Rationale:

Attendance of members will be recorded to determine the presence of a quorum for official actions.

Discussion: Also present: City Administrator Tom Ourada, City Clerk Judi Meyer, Finance Director Jerry Wilcox, City Attorney Kyle Manley, Building Inspector Brad Bailey, Police Chief Steve Hensel, Mayor Bauer, other City Council members.

3. Items of Business

Rationale:

The Committee may discuss or limit discussion on, hear testimony in favor of or in opposition to, or take action to provide a recommendation to the City Council on any matter presented under this title.

3.A. Discuss the potential costs and funding sources for upcoming capital projects and analyze the City's needs and priorities.

Discussion: Tom Ourada provided information about potentials ways to decrease costs. Several projects are dependent upon award of federal funding or agreement by project partners to pay assessable costs. Mr. Ourada recommended the council consider modifying the proposed downtown sidewalks project to reconstructing only the red colored concrete. Sears suggested having a meeting devoted to discussion of City Park improvements.

4. Officers' Reports

Rationale:

Reports may be given by the Mayor, Officers, Departments, or Councilmembers concerning the current operations of the City.
No action can be taken on matters presented under this title except to answer any questions or to refer the matter for further action.

5. Adjournment

Discussion: The meeting was adjourned at 5:46pm.
