Discussion:
Fire Chief Tod Allen reported on Fire Department actions related to an emergency situation at Smithfield. City Administrator Tom Ourada reported that the City Attorney had submitted a Notice of Intent to Apply for housing funding to the Nebraska Department of Economic Development. He reported that at this time the City will not be mandating that city staff receive the COVID vaccine. He also reported that water rates need to be reviewed, that the city's GIS staff is testing GIS survey equipment, and he is looking into new christmas decorations for downtown. Council Member Dale Strehle reported that he has received several comments regarding that the no parking at 12th and Norman should have been extended along the entire block. Mayor Bauer thanked the Street Department for its timely snow removal.
