1. Open Meeting

Rationale:

In accordance with Nebraska law, a copy of the Open Meetings Act can be found in the back of the Council Chambers.

2. Roll Call

Rationale:

Attendance of members will be recorded to determine the presence of a quorum for official actions.

3. Items of Business

Rationale:

The Committee may discuss or limit discussion on, hear testimony in favor of or in opposition to, or take action to provide a recommendation to the City Council on any matter presented under this title.

3.A. Discuss and provide a recommendation to the City Council on increasing the wage scale of Cemetery Sexton to match Street Operator. (Ordinance 2127)

Discussion: City Administrator Tom Ourada informed the committee that the need to increase the wage scale of Cemetery Sexton is to match the wage of a Street Operator, due to the fact that the Cemetery Sexton works as a Street Operator some of the year.

Action(s):

Motion Carried:

Accept the wage increase of Cemetery Sexton to match the wage of a Street Operator. Carried with a motion by Ryan Hinz and a second by Travis Sears.
