4.A. Consider adjusting the monthly rates on parking spaces in the city parking lot at 12th and Norman for smaller volume pricing.
Discussion:
City Administrator Tom Ourada received a request to alter an existing agreement from 10 spots for $15 per month to 5 spots for $20 per month. The Public Works Committee met on this and recommended approving the adjustment.

4.B. Consider entering into an agreement with Lincoln/Lancaster County EMS Oversight Authority for EMT training and medical oversight in the amount of $1,100 per year for 3 years.
Discussion:
Fire Chief Tod Allen had only good things to say about this oversight authority. They are flexible, easy to work with, and do a great job. The Public Safety Committee met on this and recommended entering into the agreement.

4.C. Consider accepting the terms and conditions related to terminating the Software Maintenance Plan Participation Agreement with Nebraska Municipal Power Pool.
Discussion:
City Administrator Tom Ourada explained that since we use Caselle, we no longer need the Software Maintenance Plan with NMPP. The Public Works Committee met on this and recommended terminating the agreement.

4.D. Consider purchasing Lots 1 & 2, Block 62 from Tom and Sue Juricek for $25,000.
Discussion:
City Administrator Tom Ourada reported that the property is necessary to continue with the new lift station. The Public Works Committee met on this and recommend purchasing the two lots.

4.E. Consider adopting Resolution 2021-13: A resolution to adopt the Little Blue Natural Resources District and the Lower Big Blue Natural Resources District Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan Update.
Discussion:
City Administrator Tom Ourada mentioned that this resolution has been in the works for a long time and is now ready for adoption. The Public Works Committee met on this and recommended adopting the resolution.

4.F. Consider authorizing the Police Chief to apply for a highway safety mini-grant from the Nebraska Department of Transportation as part of the 2021 Holiday Season Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign.
Discussion:
Police Chief Steve Hensel explained that this is the same kind of mini-grant as the one recently approved for the Thanksgiving holiday, but this one will be around the Christmas holiday. The Public Safety Committee met on this and recommended authorizing the Police Chief to apply for the grant.
