Ryan Stearns called the meeting to order at 5:30 PM.

2.1. Proposed Budget for the 2024-2025 School Year
Discussion:
Superintendent Mrs. Foster presented the 24-25 school budget. Mrs. Foster is proposing to lower the levy to the following: General fund .81, Bond fund .08, and Building fund .02 for a total of .91. The district's valuation is looking to be an increase of 9%. It will be officially known what the valuation is at the end of August. The board discussed how much they would like to transfer to the Depreciation fund. Some projects that need completed are HVAC units, bleachers, water leaking on north old building wall, replacing roof, transportation vehicles. It was also discussed that the food budget is being decreased to promote more homemade meals. The district would be able to claim commodities for homemade meals. The board was in agreement with Mrs. Foster's proposed budget.
