4. Discuss 2025-2026 Budget
Discussion:
Mrs. Foster presented a budget hearing packet. This year the district is asking $68,716 less in property taxes. Our valuation went up 8% for a total of $424,475,082. The total operating budget for the general fund is $6,392,000.00. The last bond payment will be in December 2027.

Discussion:
The Tax Request for the General Fund is .74 cents, Building Fund .03 cents, and Bond Fund .07 cents for a total of .84 cents for our levy. Our total levy is down .07 cents from last year. One cent will generate about 42,447 for the district.
