5.1. Middle School Project
Discussion:
Dr. Barnes updated the board on the middle school building progress. Discussion was also held regarding the next steps with the old middle school building.

5.2. State Aid Recertification
Discussion:
Dr. Barnes discussed state aid recertification for 2010-2011. He explained that the federal government approved an Edujobs bill that provided funding to save education jobs which will flow through state aid. The Seward Public Schools will receive $285,476.00. The state is recommending that districts save this money for next year's budget.
