The public notice was publicized in the Seward County Independent and posted at city hall, library and courthouse. The public notice was dated August 4, 2021.

2.1. Facility Advocates- HVAC
Discussion:
Dave Raymond discussed the HVAC system with the board.

2.2. Summer School Report
Discussion:
Beth Seegebarth presented the Elementary School summer school report to the board. The Elementary had 83 participants. Rachel Kluthe presented the Middle School summer school report and they had 28 students participate. Noelle Baker discussed the high school summer credit recovery program and they had 23 participants.

2.3. Summer Projects Update
Discussion:
The fire marshall gave the ok for the high school fire alarm system. Tom Vajgrt thanked his maintenance crew for all their hard work this summer. The greenhouse project at the high school is fixed and completed. The elementary playground equipment was delivered and will be completed in four weeks. The carpet and painting at the elementary is complete. Dr. Fields discussed the Waverly Road project and how it will affect bussing. The board thanked Tom and his crew for all their work this summer.

Discussion:
The board looked at Dr. Fields goals and provided feedback on his goals for the 2021-2022 school year.
