3.3. Superintendent's Report
Discussion:
The NASB Conference is November 16-18, 2022. Our Teachers' Negotiations has a two-year agreement and for this year the agreement is a 3% total package and the board would have the right to re-enter negotiations if they choose, depending upon what insurance comes in at and what the base raise is. We have seen an increased police presence in our schools and future observation of some of our crisis drills. The new Activity Bus will hopefully arrive in May and the Special Education Bus will hopefully arrive this fall. The Classified/Certified Staff Recognition Committee met this week and has selected a staff member to be recognized at the November meeting and the February meeting. We had the auditors here October 3-4, 2022. The Booster Bash is set for Saturday, November 5. The Empty Bowl Luncheon is Tuesday, October 18th at the Harvest Hall from 11-1. Our District Strategic Plan meeting will be Nov. 9, 2022 from 6-8 at the high school library.
