3.2. Superintendent's Report
Discussion:
Dr. Fields thanked all the schools for their work during the busy spring. The last day of school is Wednesday, May 22 with an 11:30 dismissal. Dr. Fields discussed thoughts on a Superintendent's Advisory Council for the 2024-2025 school year with hopes to continue to gather more input from parents on a number of topics at each of the three schools. Dr. Fields also updated the board on legislative issues. KSB will have new policy/handbook in June as we continue to discuss how the legislature will impact new policies. The Highway 15 project is ahead of schedule. Heidi and Dr. Fields met with the two banks and are looking at utilizing, when possible, some money market accounts for some of our accounts for a little higher interest rate. $750 is what we currently charge for daycare transportation and we have not changed our pricing for 7-10 years and we are looking at increasing it to $800.
