6. Ace Recipients Recognition
Rationale:
Elizabeth Olson is the April Flyer ACE in the elementary. Elizabeth was nominated by Mrs. Dreher. Elizabeth and her mom brought "brain food" for all the students during NeSA testing days! They are always thinking of others. Elizabeth received another "Way-to-go" ticket for her hard work academically in the classroom as well. Thanks for caring for your class, Liz!
Alex Wilbur and AJ Jackson were two of many students who helped with the MS track meet. They both received ACE recognition for going above and beyond in literally running the results from the events to the crows nest. They were a tremendous help to the event coordinators who were collecting the result information. You were a "lifesaver"!

11. Elementary Principal's Report
Rationale:
Elementary Principal's Report May 2016 NeSA and MAPS Testing The window for NeSA testing closed on May 6th. All students in grades 3rd-8th and 11th grade completed the test. We will spend the last few weeks of school completing the Spring session on the MAPS testing. Field Day Field Day is scheduled Wednesday, May 18th. It will be followed by 4th-6th grade honors on this day. Parents will be able to purchase a sack lunch through the lunch program on this day. THANK YOU! I would like to give a BIG thank you to the Franklin Elementary Staff. In the last few weeks I have received numerous compliments on the teachers and staff at our building from outside educators and professional service members. I appreciate the work they put in to making each child have a successful education. You are my Flyer ACES! Upcoming Activities The Omaha Zoo will be coming to Franklin on May 17th to present a program called "Zoolympics". We will have a live animal from the zoo visiting on that day.
