7. Ace Recipients Recognition
Rationale:
Anna Grube was selected as the ACE Flyer for October. Her English teacher, Mrs. Sidman, nominated her. Anna works hard in class and is always willing to seek help when she needs it. Go, Anna!
Archer Goosic was selected as the ACE Flyer in the elementary. His classroom teacher, Mrs. Dreher, nominated him. Archer does a great job paying attention in class and is always involved in class discussions. Keep it up! |

Rationale:
We are required to other items to remain in compliance with the IRS. These are optional items that do not cost the district any extra money and may be a benefit to those participating in the 403b program.
Franklin Public Schools has an amendment to add the following to the 403b plan:
No other changes were made, the remaining items were updated to an approved, updated, document format to remain in compliance with IRS guidelines.

Rationale:
The next item on the agenda is a strategy session related to collective bargaining. In my opinion, the discussion of this matter in closed session is necessary to protect the public interest.

Scott Herrick: "The board has adopted a motion to enter closed session to conduct a strategy session regarding collective bargaining. The board will limit itself to discussion of this issue."
