Members of the public wishing to address the board during Public Comment will need to sign in with Teri Kreifels prior to the start of the meeting. The total time allowed for Public Comment may be limited to no more than 30 minutes total and no more than 5 minutes per speaker.
Discussion:
A patron asked the Board to reject the safe return to school plan and addressed the Board regarding the right for parents to choose whether to mask their children. Another patron addressed the Board with concerns on loss of learning over the past three years along with mask requirements. A patron asked the Board to reject NDE's proposed draft health standards. Another patron asked about the possibility of live-streaming or recording future Board meetings and procedures for addressing complaints about administrative personnel. This patron also addressed concerns regarding NDE's proposed draft health standards.

7. Discussion Items
Discussion:
Discussion was held regarding NSAA girls wrestling, Principal & Administration Evaluation Frameworks, Certificated, Non-Supervisory Evaluation Frameworks, 2021-2022 7th & 8th Grade Standards Based Learning Student-Parent Handbook and Pandemic Qualifying Leave for 2021-2022. Discussion was also held regarding NDE's current draft health standards. Board members Rebbe and Wacker discussed concerns and observations of the standard and opposition to adopting them. Superintendent Klein submitted a memo to the Board outlining the district's concerns and opposition to adopting the current health standards. Consensus among the Board was to not adopt the current health standards. Discussion was held regarding the pre-year staff picnic, and set a date for a Special Board Meeting at 7:00 pm on Monday, July 26, 2021 to discuss and approve wall panel project designs. Committee and regular meeting reminders were given. The next regular meeting will be Monday, August 9, 2021 at 8:00 pm.
