5. Band Uniforms
Discussion:
Discussion on the number of small add on pieces and how to keep track of them. Can we replace if lost or damanged. We can. The contract is for 80 uniforms and 3 drum major uniforms. Based on our current numbers this gives us plenty of room to grow.
|
6. Academic Achievement from the 2022-2023 School Year
Discussion:
We looked at the data to identify trends and hypothesize why we see these results. Elementary scores, when you follow cohort of students diagonally up from bottom left to the right you are able to see trends withing a group of students.
ACT, even though we are comparing groups of students over 5-7 years, it shows a steady and consistent decline in student performance. One committee member noted the amount of staff turnover during this period of time as a possible factor to consider. |

9.A.d. Transfer Money into CD to be Used as Collateral for a Loan for the Logan View Booster Club
Discussion:
We discussed this recommendation from KSB. The general consensus from this group is that if the district has the money in the building fund, to go with option 1. Have the district pay for it up front and then have the booster club provide an annual donation back into the building fund to reimburse for the cost of the project until it is paid off.

9.B. BSN Exclusive Rewards Program.
Discussion:
Working with the vice president of this company to adjust the language for the My Team Shop. The change we could agree to is to go from requiring each varsity sport to use BSN for their team gear fundraiser annually to change to only Varsity Football is required to have a My Team shop and all other sports have the option to utilize BSN or a local vendor.
Short orders: orders that require a quick turn around time do not have to go through BSN Any "affiliated organization" such as youth football, youth basketball, can purchase through BSN and those dollars count toward the %-age for the rebate program. |
9.C. Soccer Cooperative Sports
