Discussion:
Contracts were extended to Renee Bandiera and Makenzie Krieger for the 2018-2019 school year. Ms. Bandiera will be teaching Spanish and Ms. Krieger will be teaching 5th grade. Denise Kuligowski will move back to the elementary custodial position.

Ms. Bandiera will be placed on BA Step 6.
She has 5 years of teaching experience In Lincoln Public Schools and Pullayup Schools in Washington. She was active military and has returned to Nebraska. She is under a providsional certificate until 2020. |

Discussion:
Ms. Kreiger has been a long term sub for 2 years near Basset, NE. She also taught 1 year at Rose Lane School. This school has closed. She is will be joining us on BA+18, Step 3.

Discussion:
Angela Simpson shared the detailed data from the Advanc-ED report to the board and there was discussion about how to address the concerns of the external review committee. Ms Simpson shared the professional development plan for the next two years in cooperation with ESU 10 and their staff.

The notes from July 16 superintendent transition session were shared with the board of education.
