Alishia Valdez-Jackson addressed the Board about her children's experiences at the school. She chronicled incidents that have made her children feel uncomfortable and unsafe. She asked the Board to meet with her and other parents to problem-solve.

Discussion:
Loup City Public Schools has recently been the recipient of a generous $50,000 gift from an alumni member. The family's preference is to purchase something for the wood shop and endow money for annual mini-grants for teachers. It is a hope that others will be inspired to contribute or add to the principle.
The LCPS Foundation will be under the umbrella of the Grand Island Community Foundation and work in concert with the Sherman County Foundation. |
