Dr. Nebesniak shared the following communications with the Board of Education: Email message from Kayla Hinrichs regarding the UNL Food Science and Hospitality Tour and the excellent engagement of the Ord Students. Email message from John and Lisa Yosten, parents from Norfolk Catholic, regarding the sportsmanship and high character exhibited by the Ord Football Team. Vox Pop Article in Ord Quiz from State School Board President Elizabeth Tegtmeier regarding her recent visit to Ord and her praise of the District.

Negotiations Committee Chair Josh Zangger reported the first negotiation meeting would be happening on November 14, 2024. Building and Grounds Committee Chair Jake Sikyta reported the Shot Put/Discuss Lease agreement will be presented in the meeting tonight. Curriculum Committee Chair Heidi Proskocil reported on the Curriculum & Americanism meeting. Topics covered were the English Language Arts Curriculum Materials at both Ord Jr. Sr. High School and Ord Elementary. She also shared thoughts regarding the wonderful Veterans' Day program that was held at the high school and involved all K-12 students. |
