REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES
The Administration reported to the Curriculum/American Civics Committee on how the District meets requirements of the Americanism Act. Curriculum material purchases and adjustments were discussed at the 7-12 for mathematics and novel units. World Language, Art Education, Physical Education, and Social Studies are all areas for standards revision through the Nebraska Department of Education. Athletic Leadership Curriculums for sports leadership will go through the same process as academic curricular material approval. President Sikyta presented for the Planning Committee in regards to Superintendent Evaluation Planning, Community Presentations/Advisory Committee options, and holding future board meetings in the District Board Room. Secretary Skibinski presented for Finance Committee that Dr. Nebesniak would be sharing during the Superintendent Update reporting on the presentation to the County Commissioners. Treasurer Thompson presented for the Building and Grounds Committee that committee projects would be reported on during New Business as Action Items. |
