II.A. Annual Organization
Discussion:
Board President Steve Moose turned control of the meeting to Superintendent Daniels to conduct elections for Board President.
Don Pike Jr. nominated Steve Moose for President of the Board and Dewayne Wabasha seconded the nomination. Nominations ceased. The vote for Board President followed: Moose-Abstain Pike-Moose Wabasha-Moose Johnson-Moose Steve Moose was elected with a 3-0-1 vote as Board President. The control of the meeting was passed to newly elected Board President Steve Moose. Stacy Johnson nominated Don Pike Jr. for Vice President of the Board and DeWayne Wabasha seconded the nomination. Don Pike Jr. nominated Cindy Whipple for Vice President of the Board and Steve Moose seconded. Nominations ceased. The vote for Vice President followed: Pike-Abstain Wabasha-Pike Johnson-Pike Moose-Pike Don Pike Jr. was elected as Vice President with a vote of 3-0-1. Don Pike Jr. nominated DeWayne Wabasha for Secretary of the Board and Stacy Johnson seconded the nomination. Nominations ceased. The vote for Secretary followed: Wabasha-Abstain Johnson-Wabasha Moose-Wabasha Pike-Wabasha DeWayne Wabasha was elected as Secretary with a vote of 3-0-1. Don Pike Jr. nominated Stacy Johnson for Treasurer of the Board and Steve Moose seconded the nomination. Nominations ceased. The vote for Treasurer followed: Johnson-Abstain Moose-Johnson Pike-Johnson Wabasha-Johnson Stacy Johnson was elected as Treasurer with a vote of 3-0-1. |
