Discussion:
Ms. Daniels shared a copy of her report with the Board. She shared information about Bill Price and his presentation on the standard response protocol training to all staff and Lieutenant Stover and his presentation on the civilian response to an active killer event with the safety committee. In addition she shared information regarding I love public schools day, ESSA designation, Dr. Kennedy and Dr. Head visits coming up, New Years Eve Powwow and Round Dance, and Project Harmony and in the impact of drama.
Mr. Hoffman reported on the REVISION process. Tonight a meeting was held with some community members. They want to get feedback on what the community needs are and what the school can do to help meet those needs. Dean Jacobs will be skying with the kids on Thursday. Mr. Hoffman discussed the MTSS work that has been going on and the upcoming events. Science class is now happening and students are taking two periods now. Mr. Hoffman said the scheduling went well. He also shared information about classes that have been failed over the course of the last four years. An update of the science classes was requested at the end of the quarter. |
