II. DISCUSSION ITEMS

II.A. Construction Manager at Risk Selection
Discussion:
Discussion was held about the process for selection of a construction manager. The selection committee will be recommending RaDec for the construction manager.

II.B. Student Information System
Discussion:
Mr. Hoffman gave a presentation to the Board about a new Student Information System. He provided the Board with a demonstration of PowerSchool.

|
II.C. Tower Program
Discussion:
We continue to look for staff and it is harder and harder to recruit staff, especially in these specialized areas. We will continue to look for staff because we all want to bring that program back to our community to serve those kids.

II.D. 19-20 Student Handbooks
Discussion:
Ms. Daniels distributed a draft copy of the 19-20 student handbooks for review. Purpose and Direction has been working on this project. Mrs. Hrbek and Ms. Knight have spent a great deal of time working on this project. They have highlighted changes and added new items in green. The blue highlighted items are areas where there are missing items.

II.E. Superintendent Search
Discussion:
Board Moose shared that he wanted to start selecting some interview dates and select candidates for interview. The committee will meet tomorrow at the clinic.

II.F. Incentive Trips
Discussion:
Procedures for younger students traveling with older students was discussed. Any changes will be made in the handbook.
|
|
II.G. Paraprofessional Hiring
Discussion:
Ms. Daniels shared information regarding current paraprofessional positions that will be open.
