I. CALL THE MEETING TO ORDER - ROLL CALL
Discussion:
Five community members and Marcia Herring were in attendance for the meeting. A community member stated she believes this should be a no-tolerance place. She is Pro no substances.

II. Process of filling a vacancy due to a board member resignation

Discussion:
Stacy Johnson stated that we do not need to discuss number two. She is resending her verbal resignation. She stated that she was using a cream that soaked into her skin. Stacy Johnson handed a written letter to Mr.Mroczek. This is her resignation. Mr.Mroczeck is presenting the resignation to the board.
Mr. Mroczek explained the process of filling a vacancy on a board due to a resignation; accept the resignation, notify the country clerk, put in the newspaper about the vacancy, advertise for the position, take applications, approve a resolution. Current board members 1. Susan Pike, President 2. Waylon LaPlante, Treasure 3. Linda Rae Starlin, Secretary 4. Dewayne Wabasha 5. Anita LaPointe 6. It was stated by Marica Herring that we can not go into closed session, or vote by ballot. Nothing can be done in a closed session. All Applications have to be turned in by November 7th. A board retreat will be on November 7th to discuss the Applications. |
