Knox County special hearing on 9/23/24 at 6:00pm. Tom Rice and Susan Pike will be going for Waylon LaPlante and Greg Shepard because they will be gone to Impact Aid conference in Washington D.C.

IX.A. Superintendent and Progress Plan Update
Discussion:
Supt. Shepard shared an update about TNTP. Plans to begin working on the coffee shop will begin on Monday, September 16, 2024. Talked about the next meeting and hearings needing to be held. The budget hearing will be 9/26/24. The set final tax request hearing will be 9/26/24. Also, on 9/26/24 a special meeting to adopt the budget, set property tax request, and open accounts at F & M State Bank will be held.

IX.B. Preschool Director / Elementary/MS Principal and High School Principal
Discussion:
Mrs. LaPlante shared an attendance update and talked about what a good turnout we had for the Goulash for Grandparents day we had and homecoming activities.
Mrs. Nagel shared an attendance update. She also explained the Books are Fun program that the library had started.
