President Opela called the regular meeting to order of the Stapleton Public Schools Board of Education to order at 7:07 p.m. on Monday, April 20, 2020, in the Bronco Room at Stapleton Public Schools.

Discussion:
The treasurer's report was presented by Superintendent Gaffney.

Community Liaison
Discussion:
Superintendent Gaffney presented the Community Liaisons' report which included: organizing Fine Arts Digital Show for May, Walk at Lunch Day (30 minutes of physical activity at home) on April 29th with Blue Cross Blue Shield donating $20 to the Nebraska Special Olympics, and reorganizing the Community Clean-Up Day.

Activities Director Report
Discussion:
The Activities Director's report given by Superintendent Gaffney included the following: All-Conference Basketball voted Alyson Nicholson 2nd team and Ethan Nicholson honorable mention, Coop committee met and next meeting is May 12 at 7:00 in Stapleton, head volleyball and boys basketball coaching positions available, participants will not need physicals except for 7th and 9th grade students for the upcoming year and student activity letters and certificates for students are being worked on.

The Coop Committee presented their minutes from the April 14, 2020 meeting.

Foundation Committee
Discussion:
The Foundation committee presented information from the Gala and a zoom meeting is being planned in the future.
The board recessed at 8:20 p.m. to observe honoring the 2020 seniors by lighting up the football field for 20 minutes. The board reconvened at 8:25 p.m. |

Transportation Committee
Discussion:
The Transportation Committee has not met, but buses have been cleaned for the year and those that fit have been parked in the bus barn.
