President Opela called the regular meeting of the Stapleton Public Schools Board of Education to order at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 15, 2021, in the art room at Stapleton Public Schools.

Discussion:
Notice of the meeting was published in the Stapleton Enterprise on Thursday, November 11, 2021, and posted at five local businesses along with notice to the president of the board and all members prior to the meeting date.

President Opela asked if there was any public comment and referred to the guidelines in the agenda.
Kevin Starr addressed the board regarding what the school's protocol is on discipline for staff/teachers that cuss and make derogative comments toward students. |

Discussion:
The treasurer's report was presented by Superintendent Redinger.

Community Liaison
Discussion:
Bryan Regier gave his Community Liaisons' report which included: a successful Veterans Day Program, junior chamber members judged Halloween costumes and awarded chamber bucks to winners and attended Chamber meeting with highlights of upcoming events.

The Activities Director's report given by Eric Kloke included the following:

Principal
Discussion:
Principal Walker's report included: Honor Roll with 57% and were honored with a breakfast, parent/teacher conferences were well attended at 83%, NSCAS State Assessments, English/Language Arts Standards, Inservice topics, technology and Securely classroom safety.

Board Committee Reports: Negotiations, Technology, Coop (School Improvement, Curriculum-December)
Discussion:
The Negotiations Committee has been in contact with the teacher's committee. The Coop Committee highlights were presented with topics of pole vault, jersey rotation and annual review of coop in May.

Superintendent
Discussion:
Superintendent Redinger's report presented information on the following: construction project, superintendent's house basement update, repair of garage door opener, school newsletter kickoff in January, future Board work session, Board member workshop on February 2, 2022, at North Platte, and December Board meeting conflict with basketball.

Discussion regarding the progress of the building project.
Discussion:
The Board discussed the progress on the building project with projected completion scheduled for December 10th. Additional lockers have been ordered, second set of inside entry doors to be programmed for entry access, and front entrance walk/stairs will be redone.

Discussion:
The board discussed the superintendent's evaluation process. The Board will meet on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. to compile evaluation.

Discussion and action to approve the addition of a flagpole and supporting structures to the newly added front entrance area.
