Vice-President Schaeffer called the regular meeting of the Stapleton Public Schools Board of Education to order at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 18, 2022, in the library at Stapleton Public Schools.

Discussion:
Notice of the meeting was published in the Stapleton Enterprise on Thursday, April 14, 2022, and posted at five local businesses along with notice to the president of the board and all members prior to the meeting date.

Public Comment and Recognition of Visitors
Discussion:
Vice-President Schaefer asked if there was any public comment and referred to the guidelines in the agenda.
A parent addressed the board regarding communication and not finding out until later that track uniforms needed to be purchased personally and it could be a hardship on some. Remind can be an app used for good communication. A community member addressed the board regarding the students participating in the community clean-up day along with the need for carpet being added to 3rd floor classrooms to help with noise in classrooms below. |

Discussion:
Bryan Regier gave his Community Liaisons' report which included: Chamber meeting and Easter egg hunt, Walk at Lunch Day April 27 sponsored by BC/BS, sharing pictures and news with newspaper and updating website and Facebook.

Activities Director Report
Discussion:
The Activities Director's report given by Eric Kloke included the following: Conference music was held here and thanks to Mr. Regier for how smoothly this went, spring sports are underway with track having competed in 4 meets and golf finished 1st twice and 2nd once, record boards arrived today and track wind suits were discussed as to purchase.

Discussion:
Principal Walker's report included: school improvement goals, Nebraska Frameworks Continuous Improvement External Team Visitation Report, Title I completed, TIP (Special Education Targeted Improvement Plan), MPCC Inter-high Day was greatly represented by our students and they scored high, junior high and high school quiz bowl, State FFA results, Mullen Art Show and County Government Day participated by juniors and seniors.

Discussion:
The School Foundation has asked for purchasing requests from teachers and staff.

Discussion:
Superintendent Redinger's report presented information on the following: building punchlist items, employment needs, HVAC replacement parts, future agenda items and this Thursday's public meeting at the Hen House with the Superintendent.
